Salesforce Senior Project Manager (REMOTE)

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Salesforce Senior Project Manager (PM), you will ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality Salesforce projects. You will manage multiple Salesforce implementation tasks concurrently in a fast-paced software development environment. You will lead the team, aligning them with established processes to maintain project efficiency. You will get involved in the early stages of the sales handoff process to ensure project scope alignment. You will build strong client relationships, provide regular updates, address concerns, flag risks, and offer expert guidance on team processes, leveraging project management tools like JIRA and Google Suite.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage multiple Salesforce implementation projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of a high-quality product
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA analysts, to ensure the project is moving efficiently and following established processes
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project requirements
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring they are communicated effectively to the team and stakeholders
  • Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans, and escalate as necessary to keep the project on track
  • Monitor project progress, report on project status to stakeholders, and facilitate project reviews and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring open lines of communication, addressing concerns effectively, and advising them on team processes and best practices
  • Ensure project documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other project-related artifacts
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest Salesforce development methodologies and technologies, providing expert guidance and mentorship to the team
  • Participate in the sales process, providing technical expertise and input to proposals, presentations, and demos

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of Salesforce experience
  • Proven project management experience in a Salesforce consulting environment. 
  • Certinia experience (preferred)
  • Exposure to  ERP products on the Salesforce platform, with a focus on Financial Management technology (preferred)
  • Strong written and oral skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Experience working with Jira (must have)
